Exploring Acadia

Incredibly beautiful here. Cadillac mountain is awe inspiring. Almost ended my ride and my life as I pulled off to take a photo and the shifted into reverse by mistake and almost drove over the cliff. 

Made it to bar harbor

Busy little town. Drive went well other than Google maps taking us to the wrong place and then enterprise not having a mid size suv so I ended up in a Chevy Tahoe which is gigantic and has more bells and whistles and buttons than an airplane cockpit. The seat even buzzes when I drift out of my lane. That was pretty weird until I figured out what it was!

24 hours until I leave for Maine and the weather report for the next week looks spectacular!! Thank goodness.

Two days to go. My bag is all packed and I am ready to have the waiting over with
